Shadow's Story NO SHADOW

     "It is strange, isn't it?" Moon sighed as Shadow and her padded along the rushing river. They hoped to find the bottom of the waterfall to swim in the lake below.
     But Shadow suddenly felt a dirty, ice cold paw shove him into the fast moving river. He yelped as the cold water splashed over him and made him plung deeper. He drifted up, coughing and sputtering as he reached the top.
     He looked to see Moon ahead of him. A large rock was closing in ahead too, and Moon was turned to him so she didn't see.
     "Moon! Behind you!" he barked, and the blue espeon turned, just catching the rock.
     Quickly, Shadow caught up to her, but the current dragged him around Moon's safe spot and closer to the ledge. Moon tried to grab his paw, but the water dragged him closer to the ledge... closer... closer....
     And he fell. He screamed as he fell, calling for someone, or no one, to save him.
